Find companies with Signals First

Describe a dated business signal and discover companies with proof.

Find companies with Signals First

Use Signals First when you know the change you care about but do not yet know the companies. It searches for companies exhibiting that behavior and returns only results it can connect to a root domain, event date, and public source.

Signals First

Run a search

  1. Open Signals First from the Dashboard.

  2. Describe observable company behavior in plain language. Include the type of company, event, and time window when they matter.

  3. Set Maximum companies from 1 to 100.

  4. Choose Find signals.

Good query:

Find US B2B software companies that announced an AI partnership in the last 30 days.

Avoid vague intent such as “companies that might need our product.” Signaliz works best with an externally observable event.

Understand the result

Every usable result should include a company name, root domain, specific signal, event date, and source URL. The maximum is a ceiling, not a guaranteed result count. Signaliz returns fewer or zero companies when the public evidence is not strong enough.

Use it from other surfaces

  • REST: submit a Signals First request with a query and limit.

  • MCP: call signals_everything from a connected AI client.

  • CLI/SDK: use the same authenticated workspace and product contract.

Results consume your workspace's current Signals First entitlement. Check Settings → Billing for the plan and credit policy currently applied to your workspace.

Improve a weak query

  • Add a specific event verb: announced, launched, hired, acquired, raised, opened, migrated.

  • Add a recent time window.

  • Remove speculative qualities that cannot be supported by a source.

  • Run Company Signal Enrichment when you already know the domain.
