How Signaliz verifies company evidence
Signaliz is designed to return fewer grounded results instead of a fuller list of unsupported claims.
A qualified company signal contains
a specific company identity;
the company’s root domain;
a distinct event title or evidence-backed summary;
an event date proven by the source content;
a retrievable source URL;
a signal type when the evidence supports one.
The source URL should lead to the event or supporting page, not a generic search result. Dates should describe the event, not merely when a page was crawled.
Why a request can return fewer results
Signals First’s requested count is a maximum. Company Signal Enrichment also returns only the newest distinct events that survive identity, date, source-quality, lookback, and deduplication checks. If evidence is missing or contradictory, Signaliz should omit the candidate.
This means zero results can be a correct result.
Evidence reuse
The same qualified fact can be found by Signals First, refreshed by Signal Awareness, inspected through Company Signal Enrichment, and reused by Signal to Copy. Signaliz preserves origin and run provenance so repeated use does not have to become repeated research.
Open My Data to see which Signaliz product first found a signal and which later runs reused it.
Using evidence in copy
Signal to Copy supports three modes:
Saved evidence — select an exact fact already in the workspace.
Fresh research — find current company evidence before writing.
Offer only — write without signal claims when you intentionally do not have evidence.
Never convert a weak or missing signal into a confident claim. Offer-only copy should be described as firmographic or offer-led, not signal-led.
Reporting a bad result
Send Support the company domain, Signaliz product, run ID if visible, signal title, source URL, event date, and what is wrong. Do not include a complete API key or private keyed MCP URL.
